Loudoun Internal Medicine Associates (LIMA) was founded in Leesburg in 1986. We moved to Lansdowne in 1997 and have been growing since.
Our experienced and certified Internists include Geetha Pillai and Richard Kim, both Fellows of the American College of Physicians. Combined, our three physicians have over 100 years experience in Internal Medicine.
LIMA was an early supporter of Nurse Practitioners in Internal Medicine. We act as a training site for local programs. Most of our Nurse Practitioners received part of their training within this practice.
Weight Loss
LIMA offers physician-monitored weight loss products. In clinical trials, participants in studies lost 15% of body weight through a once-a-week injection.
Women’s Health
We are by your side. The experienced practitioners at LIMA are able to help with birth control, gynecology, breast/ovarian health issues, mammography, menopause-related problems, bone health and heart disease. As a part of our preventative focus, we will test key indictors, such as blood pressure, PAP smears, mammograms and check cholesterol levels.
Adults
Our focus is on keeping you healthy. Annual exams are a great way to ensure you stay well. We will be sure to go over your health history and follow-up on any needed immunizations and treatments. If there are long-term issues, we will always keep up with your progress.
Seniors
We are currently accepting Medicare patients. Our services to seniors include: routine exams, preventative screening, assessing family history for risks, and Wellness Visits. Plus, we accept most major Medigap insurances. Find out more on our Medicare page.
