Ms. Emery joined LIMA in 2009 as a Family Nurse Practitioner, having earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont and her Masters from Marymount University. After graduating from Vermont, Amy received her commission as a Lieutenant in the US Army, serving four years in the Army Nurse corps. Amy worked for over a decade as a registered nurse prior to pursuing her Family Nurse Practitioner degree.In her spare time she enjoys physical fitness activities of all kinds. She holds a certification in Outdoor Emergency Care and is an active member of the National Ski Patrol and volunteer Ski Patrol at Whitetail Ski Resort. Amy lives in Loudoun County with her husband and two daughters. She is available for appointments in the Lansdowne office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and the Purcellville office on Mondays and Fridays.
